The AIR BODY CONTROL suspension with multi-chamber air suspension system in combination with continuously variable damper control ensures ride comfort and dynamic handling on a very high level with the option of adjusting the settings for even more comfort or even more dynamism. The 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission with nine forward gears impresses with exceptionally rapid and smooth gear changes.

Active Braking Assist can help you to avoid rear-end collisions and accidents with crossing vehicles and pedestrians. Besides distance and collision warning, it also provides situation-dependent brake boosting in the event that you apply the brakes with insufficient force If you do not react, it is able to initiate autonomous emergency braking.
